PRELIMINARY

COPY AN EXISTING SNMP PROFILE

To copy an SNMP Profile, perform the following steps:

1. From the Preferences - SNMP Profiles dialog box, select the SNMP

Profile you want to copy from the SNMP Profile section and click the

“Copy” button. You will see SNMP Profile dialog box.

2. Make changes if required and click Save.

ATTACH AN SNMP PROFILE

To attach an SNMP Profile, perform the following steps:

1. From the Preferences - SNMP Profiles dialog box, click the “Attach”

button. You will see the Devices Viewer dialog box.

2. Enter a specific IP address in the Search by IP Address field. The IP

address will be listed in the box below. Select the check box and click

OK.

3. From the list of IP addresses displayed, select the required devices and

click OK.

ACCESS PROFILES -

USERNAME/

PASSWORD PROFILES

This option allows you to set the Username and Password used on some of

the features in ECView Platform.

To add a username and password profile, perform the following steps:

1. From the left panel, select ECView Pro > Access Profile

Username/Password Profiles. You will see the Username/Password

Profiles screen on the right panel of the Preferences dialog box.

2. From the Preferences - Username/Password Profiles screen, click the

Add button. You will see the Username/Password Profile dialog box.

3. In the Profile section, enter the following details:

Enter a name for the profile you are creating in the Profile Name

field.

Enter a description for the profile you are creating in the Description

field.

4. In the Username/Password combinations section, click the Add button.

You will see the Username and Password combinations dialog box.

5. Enter the user name in the “Username” field.

6. Enter a password in the “Password” field.
