Up to 8 Edge-Core switches may be stacked, thus

increasing port density up to 384 Gigabit ports. In addition,

cross stack trunking can be implemented to further expand

network capacity.

IPv6 (e.g. Core Chassis Switch & ECS4610-26T/

All new Edge-Core switches support Internet Protocol

version 6 (IPv6), a suite of protocols and standards

developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to

replace IPv4’s impending problem of IP address exhaustion.



Dual-stacking, allowing IPv4 and IPv6 to co-exist in the

same device and network

Tunneling, allowing an IPv6 packets to traverse through

legacy IPv4 networks

A number of select Edge-Core models offer 10Gigbit

Ethernet uplinks. Our switches offer the following features,

allowing effortless connection with data center servers to

enable cloud computing applications to run on the network:
